So, with the knowledge that we have here at G&D and understanding the needs of wineries, we’ve designed many facilities and helped design many facilities. And in addition to fermentation cooling, another very important thing to cool is your barrel room or your case-good storage facility as well. The chiller has the ability to– properly sized– has the ability to cool those spaces as well. We have glycol circuited fan coils that basically be used in conjunction with the glycol chiller.

We can help size and design what size coil you may need for that physical space. So a lot of times in a winery application, you have a huge load, potentially large load during crush, and then the rest of the year, your load is much smaller. So you’ve got this chiller that’s sized for harvest, and then the rest of the year is not doing much.

So by using the chiller to cool a barrel room or case-good storage area allows you to get more bang for your buck out of your chiller because you’re using it for a multipurpose unit.
