What chiller do you offer for the wine industry? (Justin)

So today we’ve got a handful of our most common chillers, set up behind me that we use for a wide variety of different winery sizes. So I’ll start kinda with the largest chiller.

This is what we call our VA series chiller. This would be for a larger scale winery production facility. It’s going tohave two large semihermetic reciprocating compressors, a very high efficiency process pump, an oversized air-cooled condenser. We offer these chillers with all the functionality that’s needed right out of the gate. We don’t offer a bunch of add ons that are going tojack up the cost. We put efficiency top of mind, and this chiller is built with the highest efficiency in mind.

Moving on, let’s just jump right down to our smallest unit. This is our portable Fire & Ice. This has been something that’s kind of been a flagship unit in the wine industry for many years. We developed this about twenty five years ago.

The overall design of this unit has stayed pretty steady. We’ve improved a few things, but it’s built very robust. You’ll run into this in thousands of wineries around the country. It’s a stainless steel housing. What’s cool about it is it’s portable. It gives you the ability to heat or chill and allows you to wheel it around the cellar very easily and hook it up to tanks as you need cooling or heating.

Next would be probably our most popular units, our midsize two stage chiller. It’s going tohave two compressors, allowing you to stage cooling loads on and off, based on the load within the winery. This unit is great for redundancy and efficiency as well.

And then lastly, our smaller single stage Microchiller unit. I’ll wheel this out of the way so you can kinda see this thing. This chiller is built exactly like our two stage chiller over there. It just has the one compressor. So it’s for smaller operations, but again, a very versatile unit and built with all the same industrial components as all our other chillers.

I mentioned some of the components within our chillers. It’s always been really important for us to build not only a quality chiller, but a chiller that’s extremely efficient. And it’s more important these days as electrical costs go up and the chiller typically is one of the most or the largest users of electricity. So we are constantly trying to improve in giving you guys the highest quality components that will maximize the efficiency and longevity of the unit while still being reliable and robust.
