Gerrit worked his way up fast building chillers to now working in Technical Sales He enjoys the family vibes he gets from the employees and being a part of beer production because as we all know, beer is delicious. When asked why people typically choose G&D over other refrigeration companies, he said “People choose G&D because we are always there for them through thick and thin.”
Gerrit’s teammates describe him as optimistic and committed. He’s known for being caring with a big heart, always willing to lend a hand.
His greatest accomplishment was coming to Oregon with nothing but a trailer and 200 bucks and making a life for himself and his family. In his free time, he enjoys beekeeping, Raising dairy goats, mushroom picking, gardening, and most of all being a dad and husband.
When asked what his dream vacation would be, he said, “to go to Iceland to hike, soak in the culture, and hot springs and paddle alongside some icebergs.”
