Celebrating the Season of Giving with G&D Chillers’ Sarah Grams

At G&D Chillers, our success is built on the dedication, passion, and hard work of our team members. This month, we are excited to shine a spotlight on Sarah Grams. Sarah works in Sales and Marketing, but her contributions to our team here at G&D and our community in Eugene, Ore. extend far beyond her job title.

A Role Defined by Heart

When asked to describe her role at G&D Chillers, Sarah shared: “My role is Sales and Marketing. However, my favorite things to do at work outside of that are making staff feel like family like cooking, and caring, ensuring that we are all doing the best that we can, and maximizing fun and happiness in the workplace while getting the work done.”

Sarah’s commitment to creating a supportive and positive work environment speaks volumes about her character. She believes that fostering a sense of family among her colleagues helps the team perform at its best—and she leads the team here by example every day.

Customer Care at the Core

What drives Sarah the most is her deep commitment to customer service, which is at the heart of everything we do at G&D Chillers. “I enjoy talking and listening to the needs of our customers and finding solutions to help them,” she explained. “G&D’s mission is customer service, and I love working for a company that genuinely will do what it takes to help and keep customers happy.”

Sarah’s ability to listen, solve problems, and build lasting relationships has earned her the respect and trust of both her colleagues and clients.

Passion Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Sarah leads a life as vibrant as her role at G&D. A true foodie at heart, she has spent 28 years making Pad Thai at the Eugene Saturday Market. “I have grown up in this community and love to share and enjoy food with friends and customers,” she shared.

Sarah’s love for cooking extends to her philanthropic efforts. She volunteers regularly with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, where G&D Chillers sponsors meals for families with children in the hospital. “It’s special to me that I work for a company that gets involved in the community,” she noted. Together with her colleagues, Sarah finds joy in cooking meals, organizing a holiday “Tree of Giving,” and participating in events like the local Christmas Parade.

Her work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation is particularly close to her heart. “I have completed 15 wishes in two years with kids who have been through medical trauma,” she shared. “Helping kids focus on something positive while they are undergoing medical issues keeps their spirits lifted during tough times.” Sarah’s heart and passion are truly unparalleled and she’s a constant reminder to our team to remember to give back to those who are less fortunate and not just during the holidays, but 365 days a year.

Family, Football, and Fun

Sarah’s home life is just as full and energetic as her professional one. She and her family of five kids, two dogs, and two cats love gathering to watch football and baseball. Known for her infectious laugh, Sarah is often the loudest person in the room, bringing energy and joy wherever she goes.

Her passion for people, both in and outside of work, is truly inspiring. Sarah’s story reminds us that success isn’t just about what we achieve—it’s about how we uplift those around us.
