Hey, everybody. I’m John McCoy, the production manager here at G&D Chillers. We’re going to run through some of the basic set points for most of the chillers that you’ll find out there. We can build and design a chiller to run at any temperature you may need for any application. Some of the most common set points are in the winery and brewery industries. For a brewery, we typically see set points from 28° to 30°. Pay attention if you’re brewing a low-gravity beer as freezing may occur. So, it’s very important to keep those set points right in line. In a typical winery application, we’ll see anywhere from 30° to 35°, unless you’re cold stabilizing, we’ll typically see a temperature around 18° Fahrenheit. Please contact us with any questions you might have regarding the set points of your chiller. Contact Us
